My best meals were at the Italian restaurant Portofina. The room was spacious and clean however one of the double sinks leaked.Ībout the food: it was okay. I stayed in a standard panoramic room (400 section) with a postcard-worthy view of Culebra Bay. For example, Alba’s daily greeting at the Market Cafe positively jumpstarted my day at the resort, which is beautiful and well-maintained. Everyone from the shuttle drivers to the culinary team are gracious, personable and helpful. I booked a five-night, solo trip to Secrets Papagayo and the best part of the resort is the staff.
